MONA MARIJKE JAS

Prof. Mona Marijke Jas is an artist, curator, and scholar. Since 2021 she has been Artistic Director of the KinderKunstLabor for contemporary art in St. Pölten — a new exhibition house for and with young audiences, opened in 2024. Mona Marijke Jas researches, teaches, and publishes internationally in the fields of curating and art based learning.

She has served and continues to serve on numerous advisory bodies, including the Denkwerkstatt Kulturelle Bildung of the Berlin Senate (2016), the Faculty of documenta 14 in Kassel and Athens (2017), the OEAD Vienna Kinder- und Jugendakademien (since 2022), and the Quivid Kunst am Bau programme in Munich (from 2026).

JOHN JOHNSTON

Prof. John Johnston is the UNESCO Chair in Issues Based Arts Education at ArtEZ University of the Arts in the Netherlands. Born in Belfast in 1962, he developed his artistic practice amidst the sectarian violence that resulted in the total breakdown of social order and the loss of thousands of lives.

Driven by his conviction to create a more just and peaceful world, he states that ‘art alone cannot resolve conflict but the synergy of art with education can create the mindsets needed to imagine a way out of conflict.’ In this regard he chooses to pursue his ideas through art education.

MIGUEL BRACELI

Miguel Braceli is an interdisciplinary artist working between art, architecture, and social practice. He is co-founder and director of LA ESCUELA___, an experimental platform for collective learning that connects artists, educators, institutions, and communities through socially engaged forms of knowledge production.

BOTKYRKA KONSTHALL

Botkyrka konsthall är en plats för samtidskonst, i Fittja, norra Botkyrka. Konsthallen delar lokaler med Fittja bibliotek och verkar för att vara en del av lokalsamhället samtidigt som konsthallen knyter an till ett större konstfält. Botkyrka konsthall tror att den samtida konsten kan hjälpa oss att få en djupare förståelse för det som händer både runtom i världen och i Botkyrka.

Konsthallen vill inspirera alla att närma sig samtidskonstens många uttryck genom olika former av deltagande, möten och samarbeten. Ung konst erbjuder upplevelser och möjligheter till eget skapande. Konsthallen vill också skapa förutsättningar för unga att förverkliga sina egna idéer. Genom att stärka ungas kreativitet öppnas nya vägar vidare i livet.

SAADIA HUSSAIN, Konstpedagog
- Konstpedagog med ett stort fokus på att göra konsten relevant och tillgänglig för fler, framför allt i lokala samskapande projekt. Saadia är även ledare för Junior Residence.

MIKAEL NYSTRÖM, Projektledare Ung konst
- Mikael arbetar med att skapa tillfällen och plattformar för unga vuxna att utveckla sina kunskaper inom konst, design och olika former av skapande. Han är projektledare för nätverket Färgsättarna och Ateljé BK.

KERSTIN GEZELIUS, Konstpedagog
- Kerstin arbetar i konstverkstan där hon leder skapande aktiviteter för olika grupper, utbildningar och samtal, samt barnaktiviteter under lovlediga dagar. Hon arbetar även med Junior Residence.
